What is Counseling?

Counseling at Reed Counseling and Consulting involves working with a licensed counselor to address emotional, psychological, or relationship issues. Sessions typically last 50 minutes and may include individuals, couples, or family members, depending on the specific needs and goals discussed.

What Should I Expect at My Appointment?

Appointments are scheduled based on the severity and nature of your issues. You are expected to arrive on time, as sessions end at the scheduled time regardless of when you arrive. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid penalties.

How Much Does Counseling Cost?

Our fees for therapeutic services and assessments are provided upon request during your initial consultation. Different fees may apply for court-related work. We strive to maintain a financial arrangement that is clear and supportive of our therapeutic goals, requiring payments to be made in full. What Happens If I Miss a Session?

If you miss an appointment without canceling at least 24 hours in advance, you will be charged 50% of the session fee. All payments are due at the time of the session unless prior arrangements have been made or dictated by insurance requirements. Additional fees apply for professional time required in legal cases.

Are Counselors Available in the Evenings or on Weekends?

Counseling sessions are available during the evening. However, our counselors are not available on weekends.
