Tammy Snyder

Tammy earned a BA in Sociology and a MS in Clinical Mental Health from the University of Memphis. She also earned a M. Ed from Freed-Hardeman University. She also has experience providing therapy to individual clients, adults, and children, who have experienced various types of trauma.Tammy has provided services for clients for anxiety, depression, grief/loss, anger management, life transitions, stress, social skills, self-esteem, and generational challenges.

Before choosing to serve as a Clinical Mental Health Therapist, Tammy was an elementary school teacher with Shelby County Schools for 11 years. Tammy understands life happens and everyone needs an advocate. Her previous experiences and motivation to help others, are major reasons why she strives to make a substantial impact on adults and adolescents as well.
